Most Studio Photographers have a “Book of Poses” from which to draw, whether a literal book or one in our mind. Many times, I’ll go for one of my tried and true’s but then it becomes very clear this one just won’t work in this situation. No big worry, I’m usually pretty good at thinking on my feet so we just move on from there and go with the flow.

This little guy was not in a cooperative mood, but he loves to climb. This ladder made all the difference.

Over thinking poses, doesn’t add to the result. It removes some of the spontaneous wonderful-ness that sometimes takes place.

Merriam-Webster says, A serendipitist is "one who finds valuable or agreeable things not sought for." I like that! Especially when I can stand back from the plans I’ve made and see that the best things can happen outside of what I expected.

Call me to set up our own "serendipitist" time together.

Didn't plan ahead for a GIFT FOR MOM? No worries, we've got your back!

We love you mom! All the things you have done and are doing in our lives.

It’s not enough to just thank you ONE DAY a year.

A gift of flowers is beautiful but alas they fade and die.

A gift of family memories though, that's a GIFT!

This year give mom a gift of WALL ART or TABLE ART featuring her most valued possession - YOU!

We have eGift Cards (instantly send them to mom’s email!)

We will work one-on-one with her to plan and carry out this gift.

All you have to do is show up for the Family Session.

I’ve never been a dancer. At least not in public. My nickname as a child was “spider” because my long arms and legs were always flailing about awkwardly. The rhythm of life may or may not involve actual dancing for me, but my life has a rhythm.

The inter-relationship of a family has what I would consider a rhythm.

In my studio, it’s fun to explore the rhythm of relationships. I sometimes call my photography style “Posed Not Posed” We may script some ideas for poses, but mostly we just interact, and the rhythm happens.

What is your family's rhythm?

Call and schedule a consultation today, so we can find out together.
